Frozen 2 Release Date

What all fans of animated movies are eagerly expecting is the next installment of “Frozen.” Although no official statement on its release date has been made, it will definitely hit the theaters.

What seems to be taking so much time is the production of the movie. Namely, the development of the first installment lasted two years, so the second part surely won’t take less time than that.

Actress Kristen Bell, who gave her voice to Anna, has mentioned in an interview that Disney needs a lot of time to make a sequel of good quality. She said that when one had such a successful first movie, they certainly want to make a sequel. What took so much time was coming up with the story and deciding on what the message it conveyed would be, as well as seeing what would be important in the story.

Many speculations are circulating these days on the next sequel, even the one on the possible connection of “Frozen” and “Tarzan.” This rumor is based on co-directors statement in an MTV interview that he had in his head a strange little world where Anna and Elsa’s brother was Tarzan. This led to its fans really hoping that Tarzan will be featured in “Frozen 2”.

At this point, it is unclear how would the crew combine the magical world of Frozen with Tarzan story. It would be a great move for Disney, but we would also like to see separate movies for both of these.

There will certainly be a lot more interesting rumors sparked by all sorts of things connected to “Frozen,” but what is important is that “Frozen 2” is coming and is eagerly expected. In the meantime, there are some other “Frozen” projects to satisfy fans while waiting, such as the Broadway musical planned for the spring next year. There will also be a pre-Broadway event from Aug. 17 to Oct. 1, 2017, at the Buell Theatre, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, so all Elsa fans can enjoy it while waiting to see “Frozen 2” on the big screen.

‘Frozen’ Director Just Confirmed Tarzan Is Anna And Elsa’s Baby Brother

Frozen co-director Chris Buck just confirmed one of the longest-standing fan theories that Elsa and Anna’s parents did not immediately die at sea and instead stayed in a jungle after the shipwreck. They had a newborn son and they built a tree house only to meet a tragic end when they were devoured by a leopard.

Buck’s revelation just confirmed that Elsa and Anna’s parents have given birth to Tarzan. Frozen’s co-director is likewise the director of Tarzan and in an interview with MTV, he talked about the theory.

“Of course Anna and Elsa’s parents didn’t die. Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy. They get shipwrecked, and somehow they really washed way far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle. They end up building a tree house and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas.”

For Buck, working on Frozen for years allowed him to explore other storylines. “In my little head, Anna and Elsa’s brother is Tarzan. That’s my fun little world. Whatever people want to believe, go for it,” he further said. “That’s the spirit of Disney.”

Frozen 2 is on its way and it is exciting if the cast members will mention the theory. The full-length sequel is expected to come out before 2019 since Disney has pretty much mapped out its releases for 2017 and 2018 with no mention of Frozen 2.

Kristen Bell, who will reprise her role in the film, previously told Collider that the reason Disney is taking so long is that “they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it.”

Meanwhile, while waiting for Frozen 2, fans can look forward to Olaf’s Frozen Adventure that will air on ABC at the end of this year. The Christmas special will of course highlight the beloved snowman’s story. In the sequel, it is believed that Olaf will have a girlfriend.

Another relevant project is the Frozen Broadway show which will premiere in the spring of 2018. There’s no final word yet on the casting, but during the table read held in New York last May, Betsy Wolfe, Patti Murin, and Okieiete Onaodowan gave life to the roles of Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff.

The story of Frozen 2 remains to be seen but recently, some wondered if Disney will make Elsa its first LGBT lead star. Since Anna has Kristoff, several petitions have been started asking the company to #GiveElsaAGirlfriend. Idina Menzel, who lent her voice to the queen, told Pride Source that she’s happy but at the same time doubtful if Disney will listen to the requests.

“Maybe at first I was a little surprised because it’s Disney, but I can say that I’m excited that the conversation is happening. I can’t promise anybody that that’s what’s gonna happen… But deep down am I really happy that it’s causing people to talk about it and have these kinds of conversations? Yeah, I am.”
The 45-year-old already played the role of a bisexual in Rent. Her part as Maureen not only earned her the applause of the LGBT community, but also a Tony Award nomination.

Menzel considers herself lucky to be in a position where she inspires the young ones. She recalls receiving letters from kids who are struggling with their identities. She believes her character in Frozen reminds them to embrace who they are and start changing the world around them regardless of their identities.

‘Frozen 2′ Plot, Cast & Release Date: Idina Menzel Replacements Named; Josh Gad Talks About Olaf

Frozen 2” has still a long way to go, but speculations about the sequel’s plot and cast have already surfaced online. Even before the movie was confirmed, fans of the successful Disney animation have already appealed for a follow-up movie, proving that the 2013 movie was truly a global phenomenon.

Details of “Frozen 2” remains to be very limited as of writing. While several reports have already noted that “Frozen” characters Anna, played by Kristen Bell; Elsa, played by Idina Menzel; and Olaf, played by Josh Gad will all return to reprise their roles, it’s only actress Kristen Bell who has been actively sharing information about the sequel’s progress.

Many have started to speculate that Idina might not return, as several “Frozen 2” rumors have named Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift as possible replacements for the Broadway star. As iTech Post recently reported, Demi could be good choice given her powerful vocal range.

While nothing has been set on stone just yet, actor Josh Gad has a few expectations for his character Olaf in “Frozen 2.” As he recently shared, he wants to see Olaf grow while showing audiences how much he has changed since knowing more about the world. “You know, he’s so new to the world,” Josh said as Cinema Blend reported. “I’d love to see what being around in this world a little bit has taught him, or is teaching him.”

Meanwhile, new reports have also started to claim that “Frozen 2” will most probably introduce a King that will win over Queen Elsa‘s heart. According to Movie News Guide, the central theme for the upcoming movie could be about finding love. As the sisters mature, it would be possible that a love interest for the icy queen could be included in the storyline.

Frozen 2” is currently in development but rumors about the sequel are already making rounds on the Internet. From Elsa being gay to Olaf finding a love interest in the upcoming Disney movie, here are some of the things you need to know about the sequel:

Warning: Spoilers ahead! Read on to learn more about this scoop.

Frozen” is undoubtedly one of the most successful animated movies in the history. It really is not a surprise to see fans asking for a sequel to the 2013 Disney movie.

While Disney has already confirmed that a “Frozen” movie sequel was in the works, little is still known about the second installment. There have been, however, tons of rumors and speculations on the Internet.

One of the most popular and highly controversial plots for “Frozen 2” is Elsa coming out of the closet. According to Perez Hilton, the #GiveElsaAGirlfriend became a trending topic on Twitter.

The publication notes that several fans are already petitioning to make Elsa a lesbian in “Frozen 2.” This came in as a possibility because Elsa did not have any love interest in the first movie while her sister, Anna, is already committed to Kristoff.

Idina Menzel, who served as the voice behind Elsa in “Frozen,” also expressed her support for the said campaign. Menzel, however, admitted that Disney will have to figure out how to make that work should they decide to fulfill the fans’ wishes.

Josh Gad also talked about a possible love interest for his character, Olaf. Speaking with Bustle, Gad admitted that he still does not know anything about the “Frozen” sequel.

Should “Frozen 2” explore a potential love interest for Olaf, however, Gad said that he is “hesitant” about that plot and even finds it “weird.” The actor, however, shared that he has faith in the writers.

“Frozen 2” is rumored to be released in 2017.

Do you think “Frozen 2” will explore Elsa’s sexuality? Should Olaf find a love interest? Sound off in the comments!

‘Frozen 2′ release date rumors: Plot written, new female villain expected

It is spring season but it feels like winter for “Frozen” fans with news that “Frozen 2” is already in the works.

It was confirmed by the voice behind Princess Anna, Kristen Bell in an interview with E! News, “They’ve just written it and they’re still doing tweaks, but I think we should be recording this month.” The news is music to the ears of little girls all over the world who sang along to Princess Anna and Queen Elsa in the movie “Frozen.”

“Frozen” was a phenomenal hit for Walt Disney. As if the $1 billion global box office revenue isn’t proof enough of its success, it bagged two Academy Awards and was made into a Broadway musical. Three years after its release, it is still continuously winning the hearts of moviegoers of all ages.

This smash turnout caused the delay in making “Frozen 2,” according to Kristen Bell. “That’s why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one. Generally when you have a first successful movie you want to make a second one. It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it,” she revealed in the same interview with E! news.

A sequel to “Frozen: has been buzzing ever since. Fans have clamoring for a new story of the loving sisters Anna and Elsa, who proved that blood is thicker than water even when frozen – pun intended. Because of the strong following to “Frozen”, fans came up with different theories that might be included in “Frozen 2“.

A new female villain is expected in “Frozen 2″. Since it was Queen Elsa who played a protagonist and antagonist at the same time in the first movie, rumor has it that it will be Princess Anna this time. Queen Elsa was able to overcome her fear of her own powers with the help of her sister in “Frozen.” Wouldn’t be it exciting if Princess Anna will have her own powers as well? That is what many fans are speculating. It would be an interesting plot twist for the sisters to find their way to each other if the tables were turned. Fans are indeed into coming up with exciting theories.

Disney has yet to announce the official release of “Frozen 2.”

Frozen 2 Rumors about Olaf’s New Love Interest, Serious Themes Get Stronger!

The sequel to “Frozen” is coming, although it will probably be a pretty long wait until we get it. In the meantime, fans will of course argue quit a lot about what the new film might bring to the scene, and there are already some prominent rumors in the community, some of which even make sense and sound quite plausible. Still, it’s important to remember that this film is probably in a relatively early phase of its development so it will take a while before we get any official information about it.

And with that in mind, the credibility of those rumors should also be questioned as it’s not very likely that the studio has confirmed some of the finer details of the story yet. Still, it’s interesting to look at rumors like the one about Olaf’s new love interest, and check what the community is saying about the possible developments of the situation.

While the new film will still be centered on Anna and Elsa, it’s also rumored that it will add a little more depth to the character of Olaf, and throw him into his own love story with various ups and downs. However, we still have no idea who Olaf is going to fall in love with in particular, and fans are not even sure if the character is going to be another snowman or possibly a human.

One thing is clear though – this will be an interesting romance to see unfolding, and there is a lot of potential in Olafs character for an exciting love story, so the writers would be smart to consider this option even if the rumors are currently false. It’s probably not too late in the film’s development to change this detail right now, and we expect that Disney are paying a lot of attention to online discussions about the film, as they know its importance in their overall portfolio.

Olaf find flower

According to some public statements about the film, the people behind the project at least have a clear direction for its production right now and they know what they want to do with it. Which, according to some publications, is important enough by itself because it shows that a lot of thought has already gone into making “Frozen 2”, and Disney are obviously not treating this as a run-of-the-mill sequel.

But then again, the studio has never treated their sequels like that. This is one of the better things about Disney, that whenever they are ready to come out with a sequel to one of their films/franchises, they have thought it through very carefully and they are sure that they want to do it. Because of this, we have seen very few instances where a sequel to a Disney film has failed to live up to expectations, despite the fact that the studio’s fans can sometimes have quite the high expectations in the first place, and they have proven to be a somewhat difficult crowd to please in general.

There are also other rumors and reports about “Frozen 2”, such as that it will show Anna with a special power of her own, and that there might be a theme of homosexuality in the storyline, possibly related to one of the main characters of the story too. This particular rumor has been getting a lot of attention from fans and critics alike, but it’s probably not going to be that big of a deal once the film comes out.

Frozen 2 Release Date, News, and Spoilers: Elsa Will have Love Interest, and Olaf Will Also have a Female Counterpart as Hinted by Josh Gad

Frozen is centered around sisterly love, whilst Anna has a lovelife; Christoff is just a bonus but not central to the story of the show. However it seems like in Frozen 2, Queen Elsa‘s love life will be central to the movie. Another rumor suggests that in Frozen 2, Olaf will have a female counterpart.

Here’s the latest on ‘Frozen 2‘ release date, news, and rumors.

Previously, Chris Buck said that the important thing is that they know where they are going but admitted that they still have a lot of things to figure out.

Recently, Chris Buck said that the most important thing is that they know where they want ‘Frozen 2′ to go. Knowing that ‘Frozen‘ was such a major success making a total of $1.3 billion in the box office, it has been deemed to the highest grossing full-features animation movie of all time.

And I would totally understand why would that happen, I mean I alone have watched the movie 3 times in the theater. Chris Buck knows what’s at stake for the sequel of ‘Frozen‘ and he knows that will the success of the first Frozen movie, the expectation for the film is really high.

Buck added that he take the movies he makes seriously, in particular the message that he would be conveying to this generation.

Chris Buck is known to have worked on other animated movies like; Tarzan, Surf’s Up, The Fox and the Hound, Pocahontas and The Little Mermaid.

The speculation of a ‘Frozen 2‘ has been around since last year, and just when we’re about to give up hope, Walt Disney took to Twitter to announce that ‘Frozen 2‘ is finally happening. tweet below.

Whilst there are no official announcement on the plot for the upcoming ‘Frozen 2‘ one that seems to be pretty persistent is the news that Prince Hans will be coming back in ‘Frozen 2‘. But the shocker was that Prince Hans will be the love-interest of Queen Elsa.

I guess this plot has a lot to do with second chances and forgiveness, but after the stunt that Prince Hans pulled off in the first film, it’ll take Disney a whole lot to make the audience convince that Prince Hans can be good. After all, we all believed him in the first half of ‘Frozen’ so what assurance do we have that he’s actually changed and he’s not just after the throne?

Another rumor was that there’ll be a new villain in Arendelle and the villain this time would be a woman. I guess we’ll have to wait for a while before we’ll truly know, I’m just glad that Olaf‘s coming back.

Last but not the least, it is reported that Olaf will also have a love interest in ‘Frozen 2‘. According to ‘The Telegraph’, Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) hinted that Olaf will have a female counter-part in ‘Frozen 2′.

Frozen 2‘ is pegged to be released-earliest-by 2017.

‘Frozen 2′ update: Story to show a more playful Elsa; Will Olaf get a love interest?

Disney‘s latest princesses are back as the studio finally confirmed that the groundbreaking film, “Frozen,” will have a sequel with the production already underway.

The story will reportedly depict a different side of Elsa, from the brooding and frightened princess who developed into a strong, determined and motivated queen of Arendelle. The plot will also pick up from the playful Elsa momentarily seen during animated short “Frozen Fever,” shown at the beginning of live-action movie “Cinderella.”

Director Chris Buck teases the film and said, “In the previous production, Elsa had such a difficult journey, and finally she is just beginning to feel like she should be open and enjoys life again. That is what was good about her in “Frozen Fever” follow up sequel – we could enjoy with Elsa, and that bit will be unveiled in the next one.”

Although Elsa will somehow have a good change, Buck reassured the fans that her relationship and connection with Anna will still be a central point in the sequel.

Meanwhile, voice lead actresses Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel as Anna and Elsa respectively, will also return to reprise their roles. Rumors have it that their characters are expected to have brand new dresses to replace the iconic blue gown that became a staple in little girls’ costume closets.

Bell took it to Twitter to previously announce the news and said, “Dreams really do come 2!!! #FROZEN2 #itsofficial.”

Director Jennifer Lee also tweeted her enthusiasm, “At last, I can say – FROZEN 2!!!! I’m beyond excited to create alongside my Frozen family!”

Josh Gad who voices the ever-cheerful Olaf will also come back and some reports are claiming that a love interest for the snowman may be introduced.

No official date has been set yet but based on the history of the franchise, the sequel may hit the theaters in 2018.
