7 Easy Animal Makeup Tutorials For Halloween That’ll Have You Looking Perfect

An animal is the simplest Halloween costume you can choose. You can literally wear anything, throw on a pair of animal ears and a little makeup, and you’re completely set for Halloween. It’s the ultimate lazy girl Halloween costume, and these easy animal Halloween costume makeup tutorials will set you up for success.

Every year, when it comes time to choose a Halloween costume, I procrastinate until the absolute last minute. My conversations with my friends usually go something like this: “What can I be for Halloween that will allow me to wear my usual all-black going out uniform and still be warm?” And every year, I pretty much choose the same answer — a cat. It’s the easiest costume for a lazy girl like me, and if I want to wear black leggings and a black T-shirt, it’s totally acceptable.

This year, I’m a little bit more excited about the holiday, so I’m planning to step up my costume game a little bit. But I guarantee I won’t be straying away from the classic animal costume. It’s easy, cheap and it even gives me the opportunity to test out some new makeup skills. Use these seven simple tutorials to emulate an animal with your Halloween costume this year.

1. Deer

Bambi, anyone? This tutorial is absolutely adorable, and you can even make antlers out of sticks you find outside! Totally resourceful and crafty. I’m seriously tempted by this one.
2. Leopard

Seeing spots this Halloween? Use this easy leopard tutorial to paint your face. It’s deceptively easy too — other than the spots, you just need some whiskers and a nose. The rest of the makeup is totally optional.
3. Lion

You’ll be king of the African Sahara with this easy tutorial. The key to a good lion costume is obviously the mane, so you’ll need to step up your hair game for this costume to work. Hairspray and teasing will be your best friends for this costume.
4. Fox

Foxes have such a mischievous reputation, so I think this costume is perfect for Halloween. The one thing you need for a fox costume is a tail — your look won’t be complete without it. Grab a bushy tail, some ears and a little makeup and you’ll look foxy (ha) in no time.
5. Mouse

Ah, the classic Karen Smith costume. Yes, a mouse costume has a bit of a Mean Girls reputation, but it’s also a totally adorable costume option. This tutorial will teach you how to do your makeup perfectly. Add some ears and enjoy spending the rest of the night pointing at them and saying “I’m a mouse…duh!”
6. Tiger

The mascot of my alma mater is a tiger, so I’m a little biased, but I think this costume is one of the cutest ones on this list. You’ll be queen of the jungle with this costume. Looks like those tiger ears I used to wear while tailgating might be coming in handy…
7. Cat

You didn’t think I’d end this list without including the classic cat costume, did you? Yes, it’s a little cliche. But if you’re as lazy as I am when it comes to Halloween, a cat may be your best bet. Follow this easy tutorial to take your look from good to great.

If you’re looking for a last minute costume idea, these animal tutorials will save the day.

Frozen 2 Release Date, News, and Spoilers: Elsa Will have Love Interest, and Olaf Will Also have a Female Counterpart as Hinted by Josh Gad

Frozen is centered around sisterly love, whilst Anna has a lovelife; Christoff is just a bonus but not central to the story of the show. However it seems like in Frozen 2, Queen Elsa‘s love life will be central to the movie. Another rumor suggests that in Frozen 2, Olaf will have a female counterpart.

Here’s the latest on ‘Frozen 2‘ release date, news, and rumors.

Previously, Chris Buck said that the important thing is that they know where they are going but admitted that they still have a lot of things to figure out.

Recently, Chris Buck said that the most important thing is that they know where they want ‘Frozen 2′ to go. Knowing that ‘Frozen‘ was such a major success making a total of $1.3 billion in the box office, it has been deemed to the highest grossing full-features animation movie of all time.

And I would totally understand why would that happen, I mean I alone have watched the movie 3 times in the theater. Chris Buck knows what’s at stake for the sequel of ‘Frozen‘ and he knows that will the success of the first Frozen movie, the expectation for the film is really high.

Buck added that he take the movies he makes seriously, in particular the message that he would be conveying to this generation.

Chris Buck is known to have worked on other animated movies like; Tarzan, Surf’s Up, The Fox and the Hound, Pocahontas and The Little Mermaid.

The speculation of a ‘Frozen 2‘ has been around since last year, and just when we’re about to give up hope, Walt Disney took to Twitter to announce that ‘Frozen 2‘ is finally happening. tweet below.

Whilst there are no official announcement on the plot for the upcoming ‘Frozen 2‘ one that seems to be pretty persistent is the news that Prince Hans will be coming back in ‘Frozen 2‘. But the shocker was that Prince Hans will be the love-interest of Queen Elsa.

I guess this plot has a lot to do with second chances and forgiveness, but after the stunt that Prince Hans pulled off in the first film, it’ll take Disney a whole lot to make the audience convince that Prince Hans can be good. After all, we all believed him in the first half of ‘Frozen’ so what assurance do we have that he’s actually changed and he’s not just after the throne?

Another rumor was that there’ll be a new villain in Arendelle and the villain this time would be a woman. I guess we’ll have to wait for a while before we’ll truly know, I’m just glad that Olaf‘s coming back.

Last but not the least, it is reported that Olaf will also have a love interest in ‘Frozen 2‘. According to ‘The Telegraph’, Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) hinted that Olaf will have a female counter-part in ‘Frozen 2′.

Frozen 2‘ is pegged to be released-earliest-by 2017.

‘My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games’ plays on DVD

Coming to DVD this week from Hasbro Studios and Shout! Kids Factory is the iconic characters in a new full-length feature with “My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games.”

When the crown is stolen from their precious Crystal Empire, Twilight Sparkles knows she must find the one responsible – Sunset Shimmer. The problem is that the crown is now in another world where Twilight is turned into a real teenage girl. Even more strange is that she is a student at Canterlot High.

Now, The Friendship Games have come to Canterlot High and the Crystal Prep Academy comes to compete in archery, motocross and roller-skating. Shimmer wants to keep magic out of the games as the girls come together to go on the high school journey together!

I absolutely love the new storyline that these memorable characters have taken. The animation is absolutely vibrant, stunning and what you would expect from all things My Little Pony.

The characters are still themselves, personality wise, and although now girls it is still easy to see the ‘pony within’. I believe that is what I like the best! Of course all animated characters grow, yet Hasbro has done a brilliant job of mesh the two worlds together keeping both sides happy.

Hasbro Studios is an iconic brand with some of the best in animation and family programming with MY LITTLE PONY, and LITTLEST PET SHOP. Since its formation in 2009, Hasbro Studios has received seven Daytime Emmy’s!

SHOUT! Factory brings the best to fans offering up feature films, classic television series, animation and specials. For more of what they have to offer go to www.shoutfactory.com.

It didn’t take us long to learn the songs which is another fun aspect of the My Little Pony franchise, fun in everything they do. The DVD also includes an exclusive musical performance, a new audio commentary, sing-alongs and animated shorts.

My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games” is a delightful addition to the family library and expands the saga of the best pony girls in the world.

Minions masterclass: 15 life lessons we learned from the Despicable Me cuties

These little yellow critters might be adorable, but the minions have also taught us some VERY valuable life lessons

1. Always look on the bright side of life
If there’s one thing the minions have taught us, it’s that approaching life with a big fat smile on your face is a surefire way to have a good time.
Find the positives, guys.
2. Always be yourself

The minions never try to be someone – or something – that they’re not. Instead, they always stay true to who they are.
Be who you are, minion-lovers. Because who you are is, actually, pretty damn amazing.
3. Enjoy the little things

Whether it’s something as simple as a hug, or a smile, or a kind word, it’s so important to take a little time and look around you every once in a while. After all, life moves pretty fast – you don’t want to miss any of it!
4. Look after your friends
The minions are proof that, when we look out for each other and stand united, we’re more likely to live a happy life.
So be a good friend; when your BFFs need you, make sure you’re there for them – and they’ll return the favour when you need picking up, too.
5. Always try your best

This one says it all really, doesn’t it? If you try your best, you’re more likely to be the best version of you there is – trust us.
6. Work to live, don’t live to work
Work is important, sure – but there are more important things in life. Find the fun in what you do, and always give it your best shot, but don’t live to work. You should be working to live, okay?
7. Ditch toxic frenemies

There comes a time in life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama and the people who create it; instead, surround yourself with the people who make you laugh so hard you forget about the bad and focus solely on the good.
After all, life’s too short to be anything but happy.
8. Hug first, ask questions later
When your loved ones are feeling down, don’t just try to ignore it and hope they’ll feel better. Instead, give them a hug and let them know that they can talk to you when they’re feeling down. It’s the minion way.
9. It is okay to feel sad.

Don’t bottle everything up; there’s absolutely no shame in shedding a tear when you need to. You need to accept when you are sad, you need to face those feelings head-on, and you need to let those around you know that you need your support system.
Feeling sad is healthy, normal, and, despite this being all about out favourite minions, very, very human.
10. Don’t be afraid to speak up
You are valuable – which means that your opinions are valuable, too. So when you’re asked for your opinion, don’t be afraid to give it.
And, even if you’re not asked, speak up if you feel strongly about something; you’ll only regret it later.
11. Know your worth
It doesn’t matter how rich or ‘perfect’ you are; what matters is how much you care, how much you love, and how much you try. These are the qualities that make you worthwhile to know.
12. If you’re not happy, make a change
If life isn’t going the way you planned, take action and change direction. Minions are all about living life as it’s meant to be: hilarious and fun.
Sing and dance through life – and don’t be afraid what others will say. So what if you need to pick up and start over? The life you live is yours, not theirs.
13. Love your body
Girlfriends, big or small, you need to worship that body. It’s the only one you’ve got.
14. Know the power of the banana
After all these minion movies, we all know the power of bananas is well worth investing in. Get your five a day, every day; it’ll give you the energy you need for a minion-worthy song and dance!
15. Stay positive
Just because something isn’t happening for you right now doesn’t mean it will never happen. Stay positive, take action, and never give up. After all, there’s no such thing as an ending – only a new beginning.

Olaf and Elsa from Disney’s Frozen launch annual Felixstowe Christmas Day Dip

Around 400 fundraisers every year start their seasonal celebrations at the beach opposite Mannings Amusements in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice.

Catherine Sheppard, events and challenges fundraiser at the Ipswich hospice, said: “The Christmas Day Dip is in its 12th year and it’s still such a popular event. It’s a tradition now for families and friends to come down to the beach on Christmas morning and join together to take a dip or watch from the pier as their loved ones run into the cold sea.

“There’s always such a great atmosphere at the event, not only with the hundreds of people taking part, but with the thousands who turn out to watch. A lot of people do it in memory of their loved ones who were cared for by the hospice, and all the sponsorship money raised from the event goes towards improving life for local people living with a progressive illness.”

This year participants are being encouraged to emulate the launch’s Frozen theme by dressing up as characters from the movie.

Mrs Sheppard added: “We get a lot of people dressing up to take part. We see all sorts, from people dressed as turkeys and Christmas trees, to others in their penguin onesies or even a mankini!

“This year we were joined by Olaf and Elsa to launch the event – and we attracted quite a bit of attention as Olaf lay on the sand, draped in tinsel. We expect to see quite a few Frozen characters on Christmas morning ready to run into the sea.”

Anyone from aged 13 and over can take part for just £5, or £10 with a t-shirt.

To register, visit www.stelizabethhospice.org.uk/events – or sign up on the day at 8.30am It costs £5.

St Elizabeth Hospice provides vital care and support to more than 2,000 patients and their families every year.

It costs millions of pounds a year to run the hospice and they rely on fundraising events, donations and the income generated from its shops to meet the majority of these costs.
