More details on Disney Infinity 3.0′s new characters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse

It’s pretty amazing that it’s taken three editions of Disney Infinity before two of Walt Disney most iconic characters made it into the game. As we learned earlier week, Disney Infinity 3.0 welcomes the two most beloved Disney characters to its line-up — Elsa and Anna Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

While both characters were confirmed earlier, their addition to the game was overshadowed by the announcement that Disney Infinity 3.0 will feature Star Wars playsets. Today, though, we finally have some details regarding these two new characters.

Mickey Mouse is described as a “playful adventurer who always wins teh day with imagination and heroic feats.” He’ll be able to call upon his friends — Pluto, Goofy, and Oswald, among others — to help defeat his enemies, and also knows some sweet boxing moves. I don’t know if he coudl take on Floyd Mayweather, but I’m sure it’d be more exciting than what we saw earlier this month.

While Mickey has technically appeared in past Disney Infinity games, that was as Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey. This version is the Classic Mickey, donning his signature red pants.

“From his powers and abilities to his dialogue, he plays completely differently!” the team said.

As for Minnie Mouse, this is her first appearance in Disney Infinity. She “dazzles and charms her way through every adventure,” armed with a purse that is used for special attacks — and holding her lipstick.

‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ Movie: Po Meets His Family, Creates A Panda Team to Battle Against A New Villain

If you think you have seen enough cuteness in one panda named Po, then you’d better brace yourselves for more cute pandas coming in “Kung Fu Panda 3.” The animated movie will see the return of Po, Tigress, Mantis, Monkey, Crane, Viper, and Master Shifu as it hits theatres in 2016. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

It has been nearly four years since the last “Kung Fu Panda” aired in theatres and now, the movie is gearing up for its third installment, as Po meets his long-lost Panda father in “Kung Fu Panda 3.”

The plot for the sequel has been released and will revolve around Po who will finally get the chance to meet his real father along with other Pandas. Now, this has not been quite a mystery for some fans, as “Kung Fu Panda 2” showed a village full of Pandas in its last clip even when Po believed that he was the only Panda left in the entire country after the town was burned to ashes.

Po will reunite with his father and Screen Rant revealed that Po and his father will travel to a “secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new characters.” Of course, the movie will not be complete without a villain to compete with. According to the outlet, a supernatural villain named Kai will defeat all of the Kung Fu masters in China, and Po decides to train his Panda brothers and creates a team to battle against Kai.

Jack Black will be lending his voice for the movie once against as Po while Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu, Jackie Chan, James Hong, Seth Rogen, and Randall Duk Kim will be back as voices behind their respective characters.

“Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston and “Pitch Perfect” star Rebel Wilson will also be joining the sequel. Mads Mikkelsen, who was originally slated to do the voice role for Kai, has dropped from the project.

Kung Fu Panda 3” was also originally slated to be released in theatres on Dec. 23, 2015, but DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox have decided to move its release to Jan. 29, 2016 to give way to the release of the Disney movie, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which premieres on Dec. 18, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Witness the Amazing Origin Story of Despicable Me’s MINIONS in New Trailer!!

A recent trailer for the new Despicable Me minions spin-off Minions dives into the strange origin story for the little yellow creatures that have won the hearts of millions. Did you know that the odd peg shaped guys pre-date the birth of man? That they rode dinosaurs like mighty prehistoric warriors? That they were there to witness Napoleon’s Waterloo? That it was they, not Van Helsing, that slew Dracula? Indeed, this is a missing link revelation that deserves to a thorough breakdown…

Yes, it would seem that these odd creatures we refer to as Minions were there at the dawn of time – already bashful about not wanting to come out of the prehistoric waters without covering their private bits with some star fish. Immediately they were drawn to the captivating power of evil – from the most vicious dinosaur to rule the land, to the most fearsome caveman…

Despite their inclination to be the servants for the despicable forces of villainy, these yappy yellow ageless creatures could be the unwitting champions of good – placed on Earth as part of some mysterious plan to vanquish the nefarious intentions of whatever new offender may arise next.

For throughout the ages the Minions were there. From the time man forged steel to wield mighty blades for evildoing, they were sure they fell upon them – or that they fell and the sword fell on them. And when gunpowder was invented and cannons roared across the territories, the Minions dispatched the power-hungry lunatics.

Yes, even the supernatural beings that haunted the nightmares of mankind were not immune to the ways of the Minions. Dracula himself, on his 357th birthday, was another victim of the curious intentions of these be-goggled beings. And now it would seem that the time has come for a certain Scarlet Overkill to be seduced and destroyed by three Minions in particular – Kevin, Stuart and Bob.

They may seem innocent enough and we find out that Scarlet Overkill has somehow fallen under the spell of these beings of mysterious origins and have enlisted them to help her steal the Queen’s crown jewels. No doubt the Minions are only laying in wait, holding out for the perfect opportunity to foil Scarlet’s plans.

Or have the Minions finally succumb to the powers of evil? Have the trappings of modern times, like tantalizing fire hydrants, caused the Minions to loose sight of their purpose on this planet?

Have these odd tic-tac shaped creatures finally gotten a taste of power and allowed it to get to their heads? Do they even have heads? Will Scarlet Overkill prove to be too much for these three brave Minions? Will the power that comes with British Royalty be the undoing of these magical beings?

Let us hope and pray that our righters of wrongs, the Minions who have kept the balance of good over evil throughout time eternal have not fallen to the dark side. What would become of humanity were it not for the Minions and their mysterious ways of keeping the worlds greatest villains from ever achieving their goals. Be sure to find out on July 10th when The Minions, perhaps the most important movie you will ever see, opens at a theater near you.

From Kung Fu Panda 3 to Fantastic Beasts & Deadpool, Will 2016 Be The BEST Ever Year For Movies?

If there’s one thing that we can all agree on here at moviepilot, it is that movies are awesome! For me, seeing movies is the one chance I have to get away from the real world and all of the stress that comes with it.

Moving on, I’ve been seeing a whole lot of movies for the line up of 2016, which is really getting me excited for the amount of time I’ll be spending in the theater!

Let’s start in January:

Ride Along 2
Kung Fu Panda 3

Both very anticipated sequels to successful movies! Now let’s move on, shall we?

Hail, Caesar!
Dirty Grandpa
Personally, I’m very excited to see the comedy movies of Hail, Caeser! and Dirty Grandpa which have a bunch of star cast members, including Scarlett Johansson, Josh Brolin, Zac Efron, Robnert De Niro, and more! Also, who can forget that we finally get to see Ryan Reynolds as the merc with a mouth in his full R-rated glory. So excited!

The Divergent Series: Allegiant Part 1
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice
Probably, the biggest movie of the year will be Batman v. Superman, which I predict will break every record opening day and everything! I’m still excited although I have to say, I am a marvel guy when it comes to superheros, which is why I’m excited for the lineup in these next months!

The Jungle Book
The Huntsman
Ratchet and Clank
Captain America: Civil War
Neighbors 2
Angry Birds
Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass
X-Men: Apocalypse
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell
The Conjuring 2
Now You See Me: The Second Act
Finding Dory
Independence Day 2
Are you still with me? Good. Now all we need to do is tackle the craziness that will be the 2016 summer box office list.

Starting off, we dive into the live action version of one of Disney’s most popular animated stories of all time, and experience those bear necessities once again! Next we have Chris Hemsworth star in the sequel to his film Snow White and the Huntsman in The Huntsman, along with Ratchet and Clank shortly after.

Now let’s move onto Captain America: Civil War. This movie is going to be absolutely exciting. To think that we get to see 4 of the most popular superheros ever fight it out in theaters (Batman vs Supes and Iron Man vs Cap) is so crazy, and they’re only a couple months apart as well. Moving along, we see the sequel to the successful comedy Neighbors in Neighbors 2, along with another sequel to the box office smash of Alice in Wonderland.

from-kung-fu-panda-3-to-fantastic-beasts-deadpool-will-2016-be-the-best-ever-year-for-m-411222 (1)

We return to the mutant universe of Professor X and his team fighting an ancient mutant in X Men: Apocalypse. After seeing Days of Future Past and The Wolverine, I’m very excited to see what Bryan Singer will do in this next movie! Also we see sequels to popular movies including Now You See Me 2, Finding Dory, The Conjuring 2, and Independence Day 2 which, holy shit, I can’t wait to see (pardon my french) along with some new films including Warcraft and Uncharted which are based off popular video games.

The Purge 3
Star Trek Beyond
Ice Age 5
Suicide Squad
Here we see the sequels to some popular movies with The Purge 3 and Star Trek Beyond, along with a Ghostbusters reboot. Let’s not forget about the Suicide Squad as well, where we will see a group of DC’s greatest super-villains play anti-hero against Jared Leto’s joker, which will somehow all interconnect with Batman v Superman as well.

Still not enough to crave that cinema hunger? Lets take a look at the remaining films that finish off 2016.

Doctor Strange
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Star Wars: Rouge One
Assassin’s Creed
Rounding off 2016 we have the mutant solo film, Gambit who will be played by Channing Tatum, and linked with all our other favorite mutants we’ve come to know and love through all the years. We also see Doctor Strange, Marvel’s second movie following Civil War. The movie is rumored to introduce one of the final two infinity stones, and Strange is confirmed to be played by none other than Benedict Cumberbatch, which makes me all the more excited to see the movie!

We also see the Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which will of course be a box office hit, along with the first of the Star Wars Anthropology, Rogue One. We finish it off with Michael Fassbender in Assassin’s Creed (maybe?) I’ve heard of this movie being made for years so maybe they will finally get it done by then!

Queen Elsa to Finally Have a King? ‘Frozen 2′ Release Date, Cast, Plot & Rumors Here!

Although “Frozen 2″ co-director Chris Buck had previously declared that he had already figured out the ending for the much-awaited sequel, he had not taken the liberty of giving us hints of what it would be. Whatever it is, it must be a fantastic one – enough to convince the Disney big honchos to green light a follow up to the record-breaking original, that is.

Despite the tight-lipped secrecy over the upcoming movie’s plot, fans continue to speculate and split hairs over the “Frozen 2″ storyline. Some rumors mention the possibility of Olaf turning into Queen Elsa‘s love interest as “the snow character embodies true love and selflessness in the first film,” Master Herald noted.
“Of course, Olaf‘s character should be refreshed and modified, and that there should be a twist in his character if he is to become Queen Elsa’s love interest for the sequel,” the site added.
The hug-loving character could be a surprising choice for a leading man. Do you think Olaf as the Snow Queen’s love interest could be a suitable twist to the sequel?
Other rumors have it that a new and improved (read: repentant) Prince Hans could turn out to be Elsa’s one and only. He may, after all, unwittingly become King of Arendelle after all, if the rumor mill is right.
“Hans, the greedy villain in the first movie will be back in ‘Frozen 2′ but his once selfish heart will change. Apparently, Hans will prove that he is a changed man to capture the heart of Queen Elsa,” Christian Today said.
Other speculations eye a character outside of the “Frozen” world as a possible King to Elsa’s Queen.
“Jack Frost may make a crossover in Disney to guest star as Elsa’s love interest in ‘Frozen 2,’” predicted Venture Capital Post. “Both Elsa and Jack can potentially be a great love team considering that they can both control winter. They may have personality differences since Jack like pranks while Elsa is more focused due to her responsibilities as a queen, but we all know that opposites attract.”
Three possibilities, one common denominator – Queen Elsa’s love interest. Will “Frozen 2” show us a King for Elsa? What’s your best bet?
Right now, the directors of the sequel still have a couple of things to figure out for the movie as it is a challenge to top the critical and box office smash hit that is “Frozen.”
Will “Frozen 2″ top the 2013 hit? We will have to wait probably until 2018 to know the answer.

‘Minions’ 2015 Movie Trailer 3: Supervillain Sandra Bullock Leads ‘Despicable Me’ Spinoff [WATCH]

Following the massive success of the animated comedy “Despicable Me 2,” which earned nearly $1 billion at the worldwide box office, Universal Pictures decided that not only would they go forward with the obvious “Despicable Me 3,” but also get more mileage out of the franchise with this summer’s spinoff “Minions.”

minions (1)

Steve Carell isn’t returning to voice Gru, instead the spinoff will feature the voice of Sandra Bullock as new lead supervillain Scarlett Overkill. The rest of the voice cast includes Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”), Michael Keaton (“Birdman”), Allison Janney (“Juno”) and Steve Coogan (“Happyish”).

The film’s co-director, Pierre Coffin, also provides the voices of the three main minions – Kevin, Bob and Stuart. Kyle Balda (“The Lorax”) co-directs from a screenplay by Brian Lynch (“Puss in Boots”, “Hop”).

Plot Details:

“Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters-from T. rex to Napoleon-the Minions find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression. But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he-alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob-ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow. The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award winner Bullock), the world’s first-ever female super-villain. They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960s New York City, ending in mod London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind… from annihilation.”

Minions” is sure to be one of the biggest hits of the summer, competing with Pixar’s “Inside Out” for the highest grossing animated movie at the box office.

Minions” is set for a July 10th release date and they’ll return to the big-screen in “Despicable Me 3″ on June 30th, 2017.

2015 is the summer of sequels for moviegoers

“I’ll be back,” the line Arnold Schwarzenegger first uttered more than 30 years ago in that indelible manly monotone, belongs to the Terminator, of course. But it also might as well be the official slogan of the summer movie season. It’s the time of year when Hollywood’s older, reliable brands, with the tenacity of Schwarzenegger’s lethal cyborg, claw their way back onto the big screen in a popcorn parade of big-budget sequels, reboots and redos. That’s nothing new, but the extent of the sequel spinning is. The sequel expansion – as headlong as Tom Cruise in the “Mission: Impossible” movies – runs in all directions, stretching into prequels, second-try reboots, spinoffs and franchises that are less linear, roman-numeral progressions, then (as in the brimming Marvel world) whole universes of overlapping characters: fantasy realms to visit, not just stories to follow. To fuel the proliferation, Hollywood is dipping ever deeper into its vaults: 10 of this summer’s most anticipated blockbusters have origins dating back more than three decades, including “Fantastic Four,” “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,” “Mad Max: Fury Road” and “Terminator: Genisys,” the fifth film in the series created by James Cameron in 1984. Schwarzenegger is back to say that he’s back. Nostalgia and familiarity mingle with updated special effects and new cast members in these films to render something that hopefully feels fresh to moviegoers. As the “Fast and Furious” series (more profitable in its seventh installment than ever before) has proven this spring, the lifespan of the sequels no longer adheres to the old rules of inevitable decay – at least for now. The ever-lengthening life of franchises can make for some strange off-screen realities, and not just for 67-year-old Terminators. “Fury Road” (May 15), is returning decades later with its original creator, Australian director George Miller. “One of the most jolting experiences of my life was to go to SXSW and watch ‘Road Warrior: Mad Max 2’ in a newly minted print for the first time in 32 years and then showing scenes from ‘Fury Road’ all these years later,” says Miller. “It was a kind of a time travel. It was a strange but powerful experience.” There is blunt mathematics behind the proliferating franchises. The top six summer films at the box office in 2013 were sequels. Last summer, all of the top 10 movies were sequels or reboots or hailed from well-known properties. Highest hopes for summer profits.nnc2hr-b88390676z.120150424155629000gif9bf8h.10 “Jurassic World” (June 12) – Prognosticators believe there’s a lot of pent-up demand for a fourth “Jurassic Park” movie. predicts an $85million opening weekend, but it could be higher. The movie takes place on a remote island 22 years after the events of the original “Jurassic Park” and … oh, who cares? This movie guarantees mayhem committed by CGI dinosaurs and that’s all that matters. Highest hopes for summer profits The people who get paid to predict such things say these will be the five highest-grossing summer movies: “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (Friday) – This will be huge, with a predicted first weekend north of $200 million and an eventual domestic gross that could approach three-quarters of a billion dollars. It will surpass “Furious 7” to become the biggest movie of 2015 and will hold that distinction at least until late fall, when Katniss Everdeen and Luke Skywalker return to theaters. INSIDE OUT “Inside Out” (June 19) – Two movies are in contention to rule the family market this summer and it’s never wise to bet against Pixar. This story takes place inside the mind of an 11-year-old girl and stars the emotions of Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust, voiced by Amy Poehler, Phyillis Smith, Bill Hader, Lewis Black and Mindy Kaling. Theater owners who saw it at CinemaCon last week were moved to tears by the film’s tender moments, but they’ll be gleeful when they count the till. Various estimates put its total box office at $250 milion-$290 million, but don’t be surprised if it tops $300 million. 04summovies_minions.JPG “Minions” (July 10) – The other contender for top family movie of the summer. The “Despicable Me” franchise has been very popular and so the lovable Minions have been spun off into their own feature. A few box-office savants say “Minions” will prevail over “Inside Out,” with North American revenue of more than $350 million. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION “Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation” (July 31) – This movie will test the durability of both the “M.I.” brand and Tom Cruise’s drawing power. Predictions range from $195 million to $250 million, but of the top five it seems the most vulnerable to public fickleness. TERMINATOR GENISYS “Mad Max: Fury Road” (May 15) – Do we really need a reboot of this post-apocalyptic action franchise, with Tom Hardy taking the role previously occupied by Mel Gibson? Opinions vary, as do box-office projections, from a middling $105 million total to a more likely-seeming $180 million. 08summmovies_tomorrowland “Tomorrowland” (May 22) – This is a great unknown, in part because Disney has been tight-lipped as to exactly what the movie’s about. What’s known is that it’s based on something at Disneyland, stars George Clooney and will feature Industrial Light & Magic visual effects that are likely to be amazing. If all those elements come together, it could crack the top five. 09summovies_ted_2.JPG “Ted 2” (June 26) – Audiences last year didn’t have much use for a flesh-and-blood Seth MacFarlane in “A Million Ways to Die in the West” but they sure loved him as a crude-talking, bong-hitting plush toy three years ago. If he and Mark Wahlberg can recapture that magic, “Ted 2” could be the summer’s top R-rated comedy. Otherwise that honor is likely to go to Judd Apatow’s “Trainwreck.” FRD-DS-00698r “Terminator: Genisys” (July 1) – Apparently, cyborgs age just like the rest of us, necessitating a whole lot of cosmetic surgery. How else do you explain Swarzenegger’s appearance as the Terminator to the film’s target audience? Still, this will hit theaters over the long Independence Day weekend and its only fresh competition will be “Magic Mike XXL,” so the potential for a big opening is there.

“Ant Man” (July 17) – Paul Rudd stars as the titular insect superhero whose main nemesis may be Marvel character fatigue among audiences that have seen “The Avengers.” It’s projecting as a respectable – if not quite blockbuster – summer release, topping out in the range of $160 million to $175 million, but it could exceed expectations. Avengers: Age Of Ultron Ending – Where The Characters Are And Where They May Go

The Avengers: Age of Ultron left many heroes broken and scarred, including Joss Whedon. After battling Ultron, “the twins,” an army of robots, and dealing with conflicts within the team, Earth’s Mightiest weren’t so mighty by the end of the film. Most of the original members decided to go their separate ways, either to lead their own lives, live out their days in solitude, or defend the world by other means, while new heroes came in to replace them. A lot went down in Age of Ultron, and if you weren’t already versed in Marvel Cinematic Universe lingo, then it could’ve been difficult to follow. To properly digest everything that we saw in the massive superhero mash-up, and prepare for the events to come in Captain America: Civil War, which will feature most of the Avengers, here’s what happened to each of the Marvel heroes and where they’re likely to go post-Age of Ultron. _1431536126 Iron Man Where He Is At The End Of Avengers 2: Iron Man has had enough of avenging. Having been blamed for unleashing Ultron onto the world because of his own hubris, which is accurate, Tony Stark says goodbye to Captain America, Thor, and Black Widow as he drives off in his million-dollar sports car, away from the new Avengers academy in upstate New York. How Avengers 2 Changed Him: “This is the end of the path that I started us on.” Stark believes the Avengers Initiative all started with him. Thanks to his egotistical tech tampering, his creation almost destroyed all of humanity and his actions ended the first age of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Even then, his ego is so big that the blame, the responsibility, and the attention all comes back to the billionaire playboy philanthropist. Where He May Go After This: Stark may be retired, but we all know he’s not completely retired. He still has Avengers Tower (formerly Stark Tower) which runs on clean, sustainable energy, and he’ll never stop tinkering with new technology. We know he’s eventually coming back for a showdown with Captain America, but in the meantime, he’ll likely be resting up…or, rather, Stark’s version of resting. _1431535036

Where He Is At The End Of Avengers 2: With the original team disbanded, someone needs to whip the new recruits into shape. The last we see of Steve Rogers, he’s stationed at the new Avengers headquarters. It’s his job to help train the replacements for Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Hawkeye, including War Machine, Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Falcon.

How Avengers 2 Changed Him: As Captain America mentions to Stark, “The Avengers were supposed to be different from S.H.I.E.L.D.” in that Stark wasn’t supposed to keep all kinds of potentially life-threatening secrets from the team. Though he was suspicious of Iron Man in the beginning, by the end, Stark’s continued secrecy and ego further proved he’s untrustworthy. He was even disappointed that Hawkeye would keep something like a secret family from the entire team.  Where He May Go After This: We know from the official synopsis from Civil Warthat Cap is leading his new team of Avengers on world-saving missions. It’s unclear what these missions are exactly, but perhaps it’ll have something to do with the growing mistrust of the superhero team. We saw how aggressive the Sokovians became when Stark’s Avengers-marked Iron Legion bots flew in to assist the people. Thor _1431536187 Where He Is At The End Of Avengers 2: Thor has been living on Earth since the events of The Dark World, but now he’s ready to go back to Asgard. Since discovering that the gem in Loki’s scepter, which now lies atop Vision’s forehead, is the Infinity Stone known as the Mind Gem, he has made it his mission to look for the remaining ones.

How Avengers 2 Changed Him: After Scarlet Witch got inside his mind and showed him a strange vision of white-eyed Heimdall and his foreboding warning, Thor went to a mystical pool that allows him to see the vision once more with fresh eyes. It’s in there that he realizes the Infinity Stones are resurfacing and just how dangerous they are. Where He May Go After This: Unlike the other Avengers, Thor’s fate directly afterAge of Ultron is already set in stone. When Marvel announced Thor: Ragnarok, the studio also let slip that the third installment for the Mjolnir-wielding Asgardian picks up directly after he leaves Earth. You know what that means, it’s time for the beginning of the end of the Nine Realms.  Hulk _1431536142 Where He Is At The End Of Avengers 2: After Ultron is defeated and his army is disbanded, Hulk is flying in a S.H.I.E.L.D. quinjet that is both on autopilot and stealth mode. Black Widow asks that he turn off the setting so that she can track him and come pick him up, but Hulk switches off the communicator and allows the ship to fly him to near the coast of Fiji.

How Avengers 2 Changed Him: Bruce Banner attempted to further a romantic relationship with Black Widow, but he always kept a safe distance due to his fear of harming her. Even after Agent Romanoff offered to run away with him into hiding, he couldn’t bear the fact of letting his inner demons bleed into her, especially not after he was sent into a rage on innocent civilians thanks to Scarlet Witch’s wiccan mojo.

Where He May Go After This: Hulk is once again on his own. Since Mark Ruffalo isn’t listed on the official cast roster for Civil War, he probably won’t return for this superhero face-off and will remain in hiding. However, Ruffalo teased that Marvel has big plans for the giant green rage monster, but where might he appear next? Perhaps his earlier question has a larger meaning: “Where in this world am I not a threat?”
Black Widow

Where She Is At The End Of Avengers 2: With her love interest off in Fiji with few options of tracking him, Black Widow chooses to stay behind at Avengers headquarters to train the new recruits with Captain America. How Avengers 2 Changed Her: Scarlet Witch’s psychic attack affected Romanoff more so than many of the other Avengers. After reliving how she was sterilized as part of her assassin academy graduation, she began to come to terms with who she is and attempted to find some semblance of happiness with Bruce Banner.

Where She May Go After This: It seems like she’ll continue to hang with Captain America training the new Avengers team. She stuck with him all through the Winter Soldier fiasco, though she may continue her search to find some life for herself outside of Avenging.

Aardman’s ‘Shaun the Sheep Movie’ Gets U.S. Release Date

Aardman Animation’s Shaun the Sheep Movie, directed by Mark Burton and Richard Starzak, finally has a U.S. release date: August 7, 2015. The announcement was made on the Twitter account of its American distributor Lionsgate:

The British stop-motion movie is based on the Shaun the Sheep TV series, which itself is a spinoff of the Wallace & Gromit franchise. Since the film’s release in February, it has grossed $54 million internationally.

Shaun the Sheep Movie will be released during a relatively quiet period for animated features. Universal’s The Minions is scheduled to be released in the United States nearly a month earlier, on July 10. The film that will be impacted most is the Argentinean CG film Underdogs, which will hit theaters one week later on August 14th. The distributor of Underdogs, the Weinstein Company, has repeatedly delayed its release; it was originally slated to arrive in U.S. theaters in August 2014.

August is generally not considered a prime window for major animated releases. Since 2009, only two animated movies have been released in one thousand-plus theaters during the month of August: Laika’s ParaNorman in 2012 and Disney’s Planes in 2013.
